Agios Ioannis Food and Beverage
Agios Ioannis Beach is most famous for the taverna where part of the 1980's movie "Shirley Valentine" was filmed. This is a very traditional, comfortably casual taverna. For those who want to have a bit of the Shirley Valentine 'experience', make your way to this beach to enjoy a meal while looking out over the sea toward the island of Delos or to experience the sun sinking into the Aegean Sea. There is at least one up-market, hotel restaurant along the main road (beyond the turn off for the 'Shirley Valentine beach') if you are looking for more international fare.
