The area of Tourlos is the site of the new port of Mykonos where many of the cruise ships and some of the fast (ferry) boats dock. There is also a marina for private boats, yachts and fishing boats. Tourlos is moderately near to Mykonos town and is located at the junction where the new ring road meets the old seaside road leading into town. Many visitors feel it is within walking distance to town, but you might find it more comfortable to take public transportation or rent a car - motorbike. There are a few places to eat or drink and a rent a car - motorbike station across the road from the port entrance.
